DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY
Day 1 – Sunday, May 3: Travel Day from Detroit
Day 2 – Monday, May 4: Arrival in Tel Aviv – Nazareth
Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. Meet our professional guide and transfer to Nazareth for breakfast, hotel check-in, rest, and time to freshen up.
Overnight in Nazareth (B, D)
Day 3 – Tuesday, May 5: Sea of Galilee – Nazareth
Boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and visit to the Ancient Boat Museum. Continue to Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha, St. Peter’s Primacy, and Capernaum.
Visit the Church of the Annunciation, Upper Basilica, and St. Joseph’s Workshop.
Overnight in Nazareth (B, D)
Day 4 – Wednesday, May 6: Cana – Mount Tabor – Jordan River – Jerusalem
Visit Cana of Galilee (renewal of wedding vows). Continue to Mount Tabor, site of the Transfiguration, and the Jordan River baptismal site.
Transfer to Jerusalem.
Overnight in Jerusalem (B, D)
Day 5 – Thursday, May 7: Ein Karem – Bethlehem
Visit Ein Karem, birthplace of St. John the Baptist. Continue to Shepherds’ Field and Bethlehem, including the Church of the Nativity.
Return to Jerusalem.
Overnight in Jerusalem (B, D)
Day 6 – Friday, May 8: Jerusalem – Mount of Olives & Mount Zion
Visit Mount of Olives, Pater Noster Church, Palm Sunday Path, Dominus Flevit, and Garden of Gethsemane.
Continue to Mount Zion to visit St. Peter in Gallicantu, the Cenacle (Upper Room), and Church of the Dormition.
Visit the Western (Wailing) Wall.
Overnight in Jerusalem (B, D)
Day 7 – Saturday, May 9: Old City of Jerusalem
Walk the Via Dolorosa and celebrate Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Visit Golgotha and the Empty Tomb.
After breakfast, visit St. Anne’s Church, Pools of Bethesda, and Ecce Homo.
Free afternoon.
Overnight in Jerusalem (B, D)
Day 8 – Sunday, May 10: Tel Aviv – Rome
Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for flight to Rome.
Arrival in Rome, transfer to hotel for check-in.
If arrival is before 2:00 PM, visit St. Paul Outside the Walls and celebrate Mass.
Dinner and overnight in Rome.

Day 9 – Monday, May 11: Rome – Papal Basilicas & Vatican
Morning guided tour of Rome’s Major Basilicas.
Afternoon visit to the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica.

Full-day excursion to Cascia Assisi (St. Francis & St. Clare).
Return to Rome for dinner and overnight.

Attend the Papal Audience (subject to the Holy Father’s schedule).
Afternoon walking tour including Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps.

Early morning transfer to the airport for return flight home.
